Artificial Christmas Trees for the Win

Artificial Christmas trees and glass ornaments have become an integral part of holiday decorations for many homes, businesses, and organizations. Artificial Christmas trees are primarily composed of plastics such as PVC or polyethylene, and feature synthetic needles that are indistinguishable from real ones. These trees come in various shapes, sizes and colors to fit any decorating style or budget. In addition to the trees themselves, artificial branches can be purchased separately to create a full tree look if desired.

How to Decorate Your Artificial Christmas Tree Like a Pro

Glass ornaments are another popular addition to any Christmas tree. They vary in size, shape, color and design – featuring everything from cute animals to classic snowflakes – so there is something for everyone. Traditionally crafted by hand-blowing molten glass before adding any additional elements, these collectibles can range in price depending on their level of detail and intricacy. For those who want an even more unique ornament experience, custom-made pieces can also be found online.

Both artificial trees and glass ornaments make excellent gifts or decorations during the holiday season. The combination of their affordability and beauty makes them ideal for those with minimal space but still wanting to create a festive atmosphere in their home. Furthermore, the fact that they require little maintenance means that people can enjoy the festive season without having to worry about ongoing upkeep such as watering a live tree or replacing bulbs on string lights! Additionally, due to their convenience in storage, you can keep them for years without needing extra storage space throughout the rest of the year – making them perfect seasonal decorations that can be reused year after year!

What exactly do Christmas ornaments signify?

There’s a hint of holiday spices in the air, and 2021 is about to be waved off for good. The annual ritual of decorating the Christmas tree is one of the most looked forward to yearly. We decorate this tree with lights, ornaments, and presents in the expectation that Santa will bring us what we’ve asked for on Christmas morning.

There’s a reason we decorate our homes with a star on top of the tree, candy canes on every branch, and wreaths on the doorknobs at the end of the year. Find out!

Christmas Trees

The first person to bring a Christmas tree inside the house was Martin Luther, a German preacher from the 16th century. In the 16th century, Pagans and Christians alike would use the ancient fir tree during the winter to celebrate the coming of spring. Today, there is a wide selection of Christmas trees from which to choose to decorate your home on Christmas eve, from real fir to oak trees to plastic-leaf trees.

The Christmas tree is a symbol of the celebrations and countdown to New Year’s Eve that begin with the commemoration of Jesus’ birth and the opening of the gift-giving season.

Stars

The three wise men followed the star of Bethlehem to the stable where Jesus was born. The star at the top of the tree represents the star of Bethlehem. Nowadays, wreaths, flowers, and even statues of Jesus are used in place of stars at the top of Christmas trees.

Tinsel

The word “tinsel” comes from the obsolete French “estincele,” which meant “sparkle,” and is now commonly utilized as a decorative element for many holidays and events. Tinsel, a symbol of ice shavings, is claimed to have originally been fabricated from real silver shredding.

The Christmas tree can be decorated with tinsels, which come in a wide variety of colors.

Candy canes

Candy canes are shaped like a shepherd’s staff because of this association. The shepherd’s staff, symbolized by the candy cane form, was used to herd the sheep. Historically, Christians have interpreted the crimson color of the candy to represent Jesus’ blood, and the white color to represent eternal life.

In addition to their decorative value, candy canes are sold as sweets in many stores, making them a hit with kids.

Wreath

Many people believe that the wreath resembles the crown of thorns that was placed on Jesus’ head at the crucifixion. It has become a modern symbol of God’s unending love and joy.

Wreaths can be fashioned in many different ways, using a wide variety of flowers, leaves, and even fruits. Many ancient Greek and Roman monarchs used wreaths as part of their royal regalia.

Bells

Bells for the holidays can be found in a rainbow of hues and designs. One of many possible interpretations of the bell’s symbolism is that it represents the bells used by shepherds to summon their sheep.

Instead of using a bell on the Christmas tree, giant bells are placed at the front door.

Lights

The night sky is simulated with lights. On the other hand, many European countries celebrate Christmas by lighting candles.

Fairy lights are a popular way to decorate a Christmas tree, since they help bring out the myriad shades the tree represents.

How to get the best out of large trees

Handing large Christmas trees without hassle

It’s simple. Though you may never get to do all yourself.

Before you begin, get a saw you can use for trimming, or go for alternatives — call a friend or look out for neighbors (seeking an extra hand will definitely go a long way). What matters is you are keeping safe.

Trim off parts of the tree that aren’t visible and ensure it remains sleek. If you’re using a 15 foot artificial Christmas tree, for instance, you may want to begin trimming from the back to avoid loopholes.

In Rebecca Stanton’s words, “Trim down branches so that the tree can be slid back more snugly into the space, creating more room, and keeping the main display at the front looking full of foliage. No one will be able to spot that you have pruned back branches off the back.”

Checking for height

Perhaps your tree comes off too tall for your room or unnecessarily long, you may trim off the top using secateurs or the base with a saw. But ensure to do all outdoors.

Begin by pruning gradually so you don’t chop off too much. Check for height to confirm what’s ideal, and leave extra space if you’re attaching a topper.

How to choose the best artificial Christmas tree for your home

Choosing the best artificial Christmas tree for your home isn’t just about the tree’s appearance; it’s also about its measurements.

By taking your tree’s size and shape into account, you can choose just the perfect decorating theme for your space.  You can also know what shapes and sizes of decoration elements to use.

Here is a premium guide to help you find the perfect artificial Christmas tree size for your house:

Location

Family and loved ones often gather around Christmas trees to spend quality time together.

So choosing a tree requires mapping out the area where it will be placed.

This gives you a good idea of what size of tree you should choose.

Place your tree in a shady area away from heat sources, such as fireplaces, exhausts, and vents.

How to measure the space for an artificial Christmas tree

You should measure the location mapped out before you purchase a tree.

For this, you would need a small ladder, measuring tape, and some materials for jotting.

Measure the space’s height (from ceiling to floor) with the measuring tape. This would give the maximum height limit of the tree.

Next, measure the width of the space available. Deduct at least one foot from this measurement to allow for space.

Finally, multiply the width by the height after subtracting one foot. This will allow you to determine the exact amount of tree space you have available.

Choosing the height and shape of an artificial tree

By selecting the perfect tree based on your earlier measurement, you and your family can enjoy a beautiful tree for years to come.

For smaller spaces, you can buy a tree between 6 and 6 12 feet tall. Typical apartments can accommodate trees up to 7 12 feet tall.

For a large residence, a 9 ft. tree would do just fine. The best trees for large areas are those 10 to 12 feet high while trees of 15 to 30 feet are ideal for public spaces.

The wonders of Pre-lit Christmas trees during the holidays

Whether real or faux, a Christmas tree is an integral part of every Yuletide celebration, and that’s no news. Christmas trees make the home–so if you’re ever going to make the most of Santa’s visit this holiday, you should hit the store and cop a tree for your entire family.

With the pre-lit tree becoming quite popular these days, many questions are popping up from consumers. Many families are trying to find out what type of tree is best for the next Christmas holidays.

Are the pre-lit trees better than the good old unlit trees? Are they even worth it? Well, let’s see.

Variety

Most artificial tree stores often have a wide range of choices. You can find some of the most realistic spruce, fir, pine, LED, and white trees. Some trees come covered with near-reality snow and other amazing designs. So much to choose from!

Unlike the unlit Christmas trees, artificial trees come with already decorated lights strung on them. You can also get trees with color-changing lights that can alternate between classic clear lights, multi-colored lights, or both.

Storage

One of the perks of purchasing an artificial tree is that they are easy to store for the next holiday. If properly stored, an artificial tree can last as long as 5 to 10 years. This could help cut down the cost of buying a new tree and decorations for a couple of years.

Timesaving

Artificial trees come in a ready-to-use pattern. The trees are pre-decorated with lights and other ornaments. You can also add more decoration if you like–think artificial Christmas wreaths and garlands. The baseline is that you get to save time in the process. Decorating an unlit Christmas tree can be fun, but it sure takes a lot of time.

So, are pre-lit trees worth it? Well, you won’t know if you don’t give it a try!

HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS WREATHS AND GARLANDS IN ANY STYLES

One of the important elements of every Christmas decoration is the Christmas wreaths and garlands. These two can sit almost anywhere in the house. From the mantel in your living room, to the exterior of your doors. They can hang on your walls, your Christmas tree or on the chandelier over your dinner table.

Making a Wreath

Making an attractive Christmas wreaths and garlands is very simple with the right supplies dosed with the spirit of the holiday.

With floral wire, floral tape of various colors, twine, floral pins and craft glue, you are set to make a wreath. Then we use pruning shears or miniature snips for shaping the wreath. You can use a fishing line for hanging your wreath. This will make it look like your wreath is floating. And using a ribbon gives the decoration a bold display.

To make a wreath, use the shear to cut the eucalyptus pods, caspia, juniper sprigs and snowberries into 5-to-7 inches. Then attach them to the base of the wreaths using the floral wire. Then cover the grapevine with a little greenery, consisting of vines or pine branches, magnolia leaves, evergreen boughs. Strategically place the sprigs in the wreath before hanging it.

Making a Garland

An elegant garland on the mantle gives a festive look to the room. To make a garland, you’ll need the same materials you used for the wreath, just in larger quantity. Wind up two or three layers of pine garlands that have been previously woven separately. This will give your garland a more expensive look. Then fluff the branches and add lights. Sting the lights into the middle of the branches. Then add ribbons to obtain a more festive look. Garnish with as many Christmas ornaments as you want.
