One of the important elements of every Christmas decoration is the Christmas wreaths and garlands. These two can sit almost anywhere in the house. From the mantel in your living room, to the exterior of your doors. They can hang on your walls, your Christmas tree or on the chandelier over your dinner table.

Making a Wreath

Making an attractive Christmas wreaths and garlands is very simple with the right supplies dosed with the spirit of the holiday.

With floral wire, floral tape of various colors, twine, floral pins and craft glue, you are set to make a wreath. Then we use pruning shears or miniature snips for shaping the wreath. You can use a fishing line for hanging your wreath. This will make it look like your wreath is floating. And using a ribbon gives the decoration a bold display.

To make a wreath, use the shear to cut the eucalyptus pods, caspia, juniper sprigs and snowberries into 5-to-7 inches. Then attach them to the base of the wreaths using the floral wire. Then cover the grapevine with a little greenery, consisting of vines or pine branches, magnolia leaves, evergreen boughs. Strategically place the sprigs in the wreath before hanging it.

Making a Garland

An elegant garland on the mantle gives a festive look to the room. To make a garland, you’ll need the same materials you used for the wreath, just in larger quantity. Wind up two or three layers of pine garlands that have been previously woven separately. This will give your garland a more expensive look. Then fluff the branches and add lights. Sting the lights into the middle of the branches. Then add ribbons to obtain a more festive look. Garnish with as many Christmas ornaments as you want.
